Yesterday at the Bank, the Phils scored six runs in the bottom of the 9th, capped off by Kyle Schwarber's walkoff 2-run homer, as they beat the Cardinals 6-4 to sweep the three-game series. They have won nine straight with their third consecutive series sweep. They are now 73-58 and only three games behind the Braves in NL East. INCREDIBLE!!
We've had some vicious storms in the Northeast in the last week. Lots of rain, strong winds, and even tornados! It hasn't been as hot in August as it was in July, but the atmosphere has been very unstable. And it looks we are getting ready for another storm. Nothing like a good summertime thunderstorm!
Met with my surgeon yesterday, and her team took more x-rays. They showed a fracture in my left shoulder. Waiting on the MRI to see if there is any adddional damage. Currently sitting at home on workman's comp and bored to tears. I just want this fixed so I can dump the pain and get back to work.

Yesterday in Minnesota, the Phils beat the Twins 7-5 to sweep the 3-games series. After trailing 5-0, they scored 4 in the 6th and 3 in the 8th as they got contributuons from everyone. Again, they played total team baseball. It's good to see. They outscored the Twins 26-7 in the series. They are back home tonight against the Marlins.

Last night in Minnesota, the Phils beat the Twins 9-1 and have outscored the Twins 16-2 in the two games. Alec Bohm had five hits, including three doubles, and Bryson Stott smacked a 3-run homer as both guys continue their offensive surge after a dismal first few months of the season.
It's a total disgrace in the prices we pay for -- well -- EVERYTHING!! Food, utilities, clothes, property tax, school tax, monthly HOA fees, medicine. For retirees on a fixed income, it's a struggle to make ends meet. And the current administration doesn't give a damn! It starts at the ballot box in the midterms in November. Do the right thing America. We need major change in Washington. You can make that happen, and let them know what to expect in the presidential election in '28. I have faith in the American people to turn things around, and get those clowns in Washington out of public service, where they have clearly failed!

Nice win for the Phils last night in the Iowa cornfields. Let's see if they can keep it up!

I just released my new single "Somewhere Else". It will be on the forthcoming album "Time Shift", which will drop at the end of October. In the meantime, enjoy the new single. It is available now on all the streamers!
Yesterday, I was FINALLY able to see a doctor. He said surgery on my left shoulder is probable.
He gave me a script to see an orthopedic surgeon, and another script for an MRI. He also gave
me a doctor's note to miss work until the shoulder is fixed and I am able to use the arm.
This is needed for workman's comp. The pain has increased and it really hurts to move it even
a little bit. I also talked to my therapist, who has been working on my right arm following surgery
in May, and he said the injury to the shoulder has a longer recovery time, and they can't
even start rehab until five weeks after surgery to give it time to heal. So, I will be
rehabing BOTH arms with them for probably the next year.
I have no idea when I will be able to return to work, which is not cool. I honestly can't
believe I'm back in this position. This will be my FOURTH surgery in the last 15 months on
four different body parts. Then there are ongoing issues with my right eye,
which requires monthly injections for the forseeable future. And that doesn't even include
the crash in May '25 which left me with a painful chest contusion that took two months to heal,
and permanent damage to my left ear. Just goes to show how your life can change in the blink of an eye!

10 days after the injury at work, and I still haven't seen an orthopedic surgeon to look at my left arm. Judging by what is happening, it appears the biceps tendon tore away from the rotator cuff. And now the fingers on my left hand are tingling. The workman's comp insurance is really dragging their feet in approving a doctor. This is absurd. The little guy on the totem pole slways pays the price. And I'm sick of it. It just isn't right!!

I already have two t-shirts with the Sector 937 logo, and they are amazing!

What do you think about this for Distant Shore merch?

I just released my fifth album "Distant Shore". It is available now on all the streamers. I previously released three singles from the album, and it kicks off with the killer track "Distant Shore". Enjoy!!
The Phillies are a disgrace. The bullpen sucks. The offense sucks. The defense sucks. Thanks Dave. You have created the same mess as the 2012-2017 Phillies teams. And let's not kid ourselves Phillies fans, the window has closed on this group of players. All that is left are a bunch of aging, declining, and overpaid players. It's going to be ugly around here the next few years. What a shame.
It boggles my mind how a super-power like the United States can't provide timely, hassle-free, and affordable healthcare for its citizens. When people suffer injury or illness, the last thing they want to worry about is battling insurance companies. It is utterly disgraceful. Every president and every congress has said it will fix healthcare, but no one ever does, and Americans are caught in the middle with nowhere to turn. Our leaders should be ashamed of themselves. If they aren't, then they are not true leaders, and the everday person is just a pawn in their sadistic and twisted game. It makes me wonder how they even sleep at night!!

Last night at the Bank, the Phils beat the Nats 5-0, and new acquisition Luis Arraez paid immediate dividends. He singled, doubled, and drove in two as his signature swing and making contact was in full display. And the rest of the team hit well behind him. Hitting is contagious. Perhaps he is the catalyst this underachieving team needs to finally get on a sustained roll.

My nephew and I saw "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" today and it was FABULOUS! Once again, Spidey saves the day. It's the hit the the MCU desperately needed. Tremendous performance by Tom Holland. It set an all-time domestic opening weekend record, and second all-time global opening weekend (behind only Endgame). It has already passed $1b and well on its way to becoming one of the highest earners of all-time!
Tonight at the Bank will be Luis Arraez' debut in a Phillies uniform. To accomodate him playing second, Stott moves to third, Bohm moves to first, and Harper moves to right. They decided to keep the struggling Turner at short. Center and left will be a mishmash of Marsh, Crawford, De La Cruz, and Hill. Realmuto is still behind the plate with Stubbs backing him up. Sosa's playing time will be drastically cut, mainly being used as a pinch-hitter. Only time will tell if this alignment works or not.
Great move by the Phillies for aquiring Luis Arraez from the Giants. He is the NL's leading hitter, and he gives them a contact hitter who rarely strikes out, something they desperately need. They also picked up Brooks Raley from the Mets, giving them a reliable, high leverage, late inning bullpen arm. Let's hope they aren't done before the 4pm trade deadline hits.
Well, I got hurt again. I tripped at work and hurt my left shoulder. I am still in rehab after surgery on my right arm. It really sucks getting old and clumsy!

Even though I am not a Penn St. fan, my nephew Michael is, and this is for him.

Another month until Nebraska begins the new season. As a lifelong Husker fan, I eagerly anticipate the new seasson. There are some who
believe the Huskers will go 4-8. I am thinking along the lines of 9-3, since their schedule is very manageable. The biggest question
is at quarterback. Let's hope Matt Rhule has a trick up his sleeve to get the Huskers back to national prominence, ss he heads into his
fourth season as head coach of the Nebraska program.
Here is a breakdown of his tenure so far:
Hired: November 26, 2022
Season 1 (2023): 5–7 record
Season 2 (2024): 7–6 record (Pinstripe Bowl victory)
Season 3 (2025): 7–6 record (Las Vegas Bowl appearance)
This may be his make or break season. GO HUSKERS!

College football is a trainwreck! Between NIL (Name,Image,Likeness), the absurd transfer portal, and conference re-alignment, college football is at a crossroads.
I said years ago that paying student athletes for play would be a terrible mistake, and that's exactly what happened! Those talented athletes
already get a free 4-year scholarship (which most do not even complete), while the non-atletic student has to somehow come up with tuition money every semester.
Student athletes may go on to professional sports and earn big money. Most either don't, or don't last long. Still, they had the opportunity with a
free ride in college. I just don't agree with that.
And with the super conferences set to dominate the sport (at the expense of smaller conferences), all the traditonal rivalries, which made the game great for more than a hundred years,
will be no more. And that is incredibly sad and frustrating. I don't know where or how it is all going to end, but it is not trending in the right direction.
The Moog synthesizer fundamentally transformed electronic music in the 1960s by making a previously highly complex medium approachable and expressive:
Making Synthesis Accessible: Prior to its development by Robert Moog, electronic music tools were highly specialized; the Moog synthesizer made electronic sound synthesis accessible to musicians and composers.
Pioneering Collaborative Design: Composer Wendy Carlos collaborated directly with Robert Moog, playing a key role in the instrument's development.
Demonstrating Symphonic Capabilities: Carlos popularized the instrument by showing that it was capable of rich, symphonic expression, rather than just novelty sound effects.
Paving the Way for Mainstream and Avant-Garde Integration: The breakthroughs achieved by the Moog synthesizer bridged the gap between experimental avant-garde music and mainstream pop, effectively launching the modern electronic music era.

CLICK HERE to begin quizWith the Dodgers getting Skubal, it all but guarantees them winning the next couple of World Series. All the owners in baseball
should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen, especially the Phillies. I didn't want Skubal on the Phils,
but I didn't want the Dodgers to get him either! This is one reason why there will be no baseball in 2027. There is no competitive balance
between the great teams, the bad teams, and teams around .500 (which is most of the Majors right now). And with salaries
out of control, the owners wanting a salary cap, and the players completely opposed to it, baseball may not resume
until 2028, and it may not resemble what we see today.
Either way, the window for a World Series title for this group of Phillies is now officially closed!
At the trade deadline, the Phillies are struggling. They need help in the rotation, in the bullpen, in the outfield, and they really need a right-handed power bat. That may be too much to obtain by Monday's deadline, if the Phillies even have enough good, young talent in the minor leagues to trade with, which they don't. What it comes down to is the stars on this team getting paid bucket loads of money to step up and do their jobs. Before tonight's game in Baltimore, they stand at 57-53, in second place in NL East, 8 games behind the Braves. They hold the third NL Wild Card, with a one game lead over the Padres. But they have lost 10 of 13 since the All-Star break. The time to turn it around starts tonight!
Yesterday, I released the new single "Distant Shore" from the forthcoming album "Distant Shore".
The next two Friday's (8/7 and 8/14), I will release two additional singles before the full 14-track
album drops on Friday, August 28th. Please check them out on all the music streamers. I am very happy
with the streams after rebranding from Triple Binary to Sector 937 three weeks ago. My new
distributor "ONCE" is just amazing. I am very happy with their quality of work and customer support.
Also, my digital watchfaces have now surpased 100,000 syncs over the last 9 and a half years. I have over 6,700
watchfaces online. The watchface designs and the music creation has been amazing to work on.
Thank you very much for supporting my work, and I hope to keep doing this for years to come!

This is a brand new dedicated space where I will be sharing my thoughts, design notes, music production updates, and general reflections on tech and creative projects.
