Tonight at Memorial Stadium, the Huskers destroyed Bowling Green 56-7. They led 35-0 at halftime. Anthony Colandrea completed 20 passes in 24 attempts for 222 yards and four TD's. He also carried four times for 33 yards. Jamal Rule rushed for 88 yards and a TD, while Isaiah Mozee added 55 yards and a TD. It was a balanced attack as they passed for 282 yards and rushed for 264 yards. The defense also added in the scoring, recovering a fumble for a TD. The Huskers improve to 2-0 on the season. #GBR

Happy Labor Day. I hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend!

Today at the Bank in a Labor Day special, the Phils beat the Braves 1-0 as the teams split the 4-game series. Kyle Schwarber hit an upper desk solo homer in the 8th, his ML-leading 43rd homer, for the game's only run. And Jesus Luzardo did the rest, pitching a complete-game, 2-hit shutout. He also struck out 12. It was the first time in his career he pitched into the 9th inning and he lowered his ERA to 2.87 with his 14th win of the season. The Phils improve to 81-63, in second place in NL East, 4 games behind Atlanta. They also hold the top NL WC, a half game ahead of the Cubs.
I am disappointed by the numbers for the three singles from the "Time Shift" album, so I decided not to release the album. Determining what my next release will be.

Today at Memorial Stadium, the Huskers pounded Ohio 49-21. The Huskers only led 14-13 at halftime, but took control in the 3rd quarter. Senior Anthony Colandrea threw for 275 yards and three TD's and also ran for 23 yards and another TD, in a very impressive Huskers debut. Freshman Jamal Rule, in his college debut, ran for 122 yards and two TD's, and also had 47 yards receiving and another TD. The Huskers may have found their back of the future. It was Nebraska's 411th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium, which is an ongoing NCAA record that may never be broken. It was also their 100th opening day victory in school history. A very impressive start to the season!!/u>
I was FINALLY scheduled for an MRI on my left shoulder. This has been dragging on since the first week of August. It isn't scheduled until September 23rd, so I have to wait a few more weeks. However, at least it is scheduled. The shoulder is very painful, and I should not have had to wait this long for an MRI. That's the way workman's comp functions. Not very fair. But, whoever said life was fair!
Welcome September! A great sports month. Baseball is entering the stretch drive of a long season as teams vie for playoff sports. And, college football and the NFL open their new seasons. Bring it on!!
